Verdin Update: Two Team Members Join Leadership Programs
Two of our very own members of the Verdin team have been accepted to leadership programs for 2015. Mary Verdin, president and chief strategy officer, has been selected as a member of the Class of 2015 of Leadership California. Michelle Starnes, operations manager, has been accepted in the Leadership SLO Class of 2015.
Leadership California is a prestigious yearlong program for 60 women leaders from across the state of California. Verdin was accepted into the 2015 California Issues & Trends Program (CIT). The California Issues & Trends Program provides focused programming for women leaders, exposing them to critical public and private sector issues and enhancing their competitive knowledge on California from state, national and global perspectives. It also connects female leaders from across the state with each other and with top decision-makers, thought leaders and practitioners.
Team member Michelle Starnes was selected out of a large pool of applicants as a member of the Leadership SLO Class of 2015. Leadership SLO is a local program that brings together 36 members of the professional community across the Central Coast together to form open minds and imagine a better San Luis Obispo County. Leadership SLO is a yearlong program and consists of team building retreats, educational seminars and networking opportunities.
Verdin’s commitment to the local and regional community and leadership efforts in the marketing and public relations fields will continue through 2015 and beyond. We’re so proud of both Mary and Michelle’s accomplishments and their strides in paving the leadership way for Verdin. Help us in congratulating them!
