San Luis Obispo may not feel like the happiest city in America anymore when you are confronted with the trash you have let pile up all winter long. San Luis Garbage is aware of the struggle and they are here to help. During Spring Cleanup Week, you can get rid of your mess in a quick, easy and affordable way.
From June 24-28, all San Luis Obispo residents can dump up to 75 pounds of garbage free of charge. All you have to do is leave it out on the curb on your normal trash day.
If you have larger items like sofas or TVs that you have no clue what to do with, they can take those off your hands too, for just $10. All you have to do is call and schedule a pick-up, leave the bulky items out on the curb and let them handle the rest.
Whether you are moving out or just cleaning up, here’s a few Cleanup Week tips to make the process as stress-free as possible.
-
Make sure not to pack your trash can too full. You might have a problem if the truck turns it upside down to dump it and nothing comes out. Instead, put extra bags of trash next to the bin on the curb for collection.
-
Ditch the garbage bag and just dump items straight into the recycling bin to avoid any issues.
-
Trash collection starts at 6 AM. Get your trash and recycling bins to the curb before 6 AM on your designated Trash Day, you won’t want them to pass you by!
