Change is in the air at Verdin!
Our team is expanding and we are pleased to introduce a few new members…
Stephanie Sawyer
Stephanie, account manager and marketing specialist, brings years of marketing experience from large corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits – a background which has given her incredible knowledge to pull from when working strategically with business owners. She also loves to travel and has spent a significant amount of time volunteering and working in Central and South America. Stephanie always has a smile and kind word for each of us, making her a joy to work with. On top of that, she also has an awesome garden and two rescue dogs.
We’ll let Stephanie herself tell you a little more:
-
What most excites you about working with the Verdin team? I am most excited about getting to work with the brightest marketing talent in the area. I have always admired the work that I have seen Verdin produce. I am very proud to be on this team.
-
What is your spirit animal and why? An owl because I often see what others miss.
Jenae Walters
Our production designer Jenae is a graduate of the Art Institute of Sacramento and the newest member of the Verdin team. Friendly and fashionable, she brings expertise gained from a full-time design position in Orange County as well as a variety of freelance work. Jenae is excited to help Verdin continue to grow and develop, while at the same time expanding her personal skill set under the leadership of our design team. When she’s not working, her favorite place to be is at the barn with her beloved horse Murphy, whom she has had for eleven years, and her dog Zoe.
-
What excites you most about working with the Verdin team? I am most excited to help Verdin continue to grow onward and upward. Being part of a “learning company” means everyone is continually challenging ourselves and striving to be better and stay on the forefront of new technologies. Verdin produces incredible work and the team here is one of a kind; I am blessed to be a part of it!
-
What is your spirit animal and why? My spirit animal is without doubt a horse, because of my personal drive, passion for life, and appetite for freedom. A horse has strong motivation and trust in the journey it is traveling, and that is something I bond closely with.
Amy Watson
Amy is a recent graduate from the Communication Studies major at Cal Poly. Her resume holds a range of internship experience and she is thrilled that it has led her to Verdin as her first full-time job. Amy is passionate about writing and loves how putting stories into words has the ability to bring awareness to important issues. She also brings a positive and hardworking attitude, and her smile is most likely the first thing you’ll see when you walk through our door, since she sits at our front desk providing administrative support to the agency.
-
What excites you most about working with the Verdin team? To me, this team is the perfect blend of creativity, hard work, impressive results, and laughter along the way. Everyone on the team is friendly and personable – and at the same time, extremely good at what they do. I know that I have a lot to learn from each person here.

What is your spirit animal and why? I consider myself a giraffe. They’re unassuming and relaxed rather than being “in your face,” which fits me because I love getting to know people but can be shy at first. They travel in groups and remain loyal to one another but are still friendly and approachable. Also, I’m tall and sometimes I just feel like one.
