Nonprofit Spotlight: Tolosa Children’s Dental Center

Last year, we shared about Tolosa Children’s Dental Center during Children’s Dental Health Month in February.

Dental care for children remains a major unmet health need all year round. Dental checkups and oral health education in a child’s early years are critical for preventing tooth decay, that can lead to pain and infection. Unfortunately, due to the cost of dental care, many low-income families do not take their children to the dentist until there is an urgent need… or they go without.

That’s why the services provided by the Tolosa Children’s Dental Center (TCDC) are so essential. TCDC provides dental services for children in low-income families ranging from preventative care, including exams and cleanings, to restorative care like fillings and crowns. Beyond quality dental care, these services give children confidence in their smiles, and families security that their children are being taken care of.

TCDC’s important role in San Luis Obispo County hasn’t changed, but one thing has – this organization has a rebrand to share! Verdin loved working with this inspiring nonprofit to help them display their kindness, care and professionalism in a new logo and brand.

Channeling this brand, we created collateral including business cards and letterhead for TCDC to use, and provided the organization with social media and public relations strategies and the tools they need to implement them.
