Morro Bay. It’s one of the Central Coast’s most exquisite treasures. But buried treasure – though exciting – wasn’t the goal in this situation. Rather, Morro Bay wanted more potential tourists to know about the myriad of experiences to be had there. To reach new audiences, we developed “The Morro Bay” campaign, maintaining some traditional print advertising but primarily going digital with static and animated banner ads, internet radio ads and the new technology of cinemagraphs.
- 14% increase in TOT (transient occupancy tax – relates to increases in hotel stays)
- 172,395 new referrals to website
- 7,000+ new Facebook fans
