Verdin’s clients recognized in the 2016 MarCom Awards
We were thrilled to hear that our work won 11 awards in the 2016 MarCom competition, one the largest international competitions for marketing and communications professionals.
It’s exciting for many reasons. Plain and simple, we love our clients. These awards represent successes for them, and that’s the driving force behind everything we do.
It’s also exciting for us because this number of awards breaks our previous record for the amount of recognition our agency has received in a single MarCom competition!
Our work received five Platinum Awards (the highest available in the competition), two Gold Awards and four Honorable Mentions this year:
- Platinum for Ventura County Coast Branding, City of San Luis Obispo Utilities Department Newsletter Redesign, Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County Annual Report, Los Osos Valley Road Traffic Relief Project, and Verdin’s 24-Hour Give
- Gold for the Community West Bank “A Better Route” Ad Campaign and the Visit Atascadero Brochure
- Honorable Mention for French Hospital Medical Center Foundation’s Celebration of Caring Gala Invitation, Community West Bank Website, Morro Bay Tourism Bureau Amgen Tour of California Public Relations, and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Annual Report
The MarCom competition saw 6,000 entries from 35 countries around the world. For more information about the MarCom Awards, visit marcomawards.com.
We’re thrilled, but we’ve got to get back to work – because we want our current client projects to be successful enough to become next year’s MarCom awards!
